Hyundai Fomex (Korean: 현대포멕스) is a photo and broadcasting equipment company in Korea. Fomex instituted a Digital Business Unit at Hongik University in 2002.[citation needed] In 2015, Fomex was designated as a Hi-Seoul brand company in Seoul.
History
[edit]In May 1992, Hyundai Trading Company was established and converted into a corporation in 1996 with the name of Hyundai Fomex. In October 2012, the company established a research and development center.
On December 12, 2014, the company was awarded best electronic trading company certification by Korea's National IT Industry Promotion Agency. In March 2015, the company signed a cooperation agreement with Chung-Ang University. It was selected as a Small Giant Company of Korea in 2018.
Products
[edit]LED Lights
[edit]The Flexible LED 600 is an LED light. The LED panel has a power output of up to 2,000 lux per meter and a digital dimmer.
The Fomex EX Panel Light was awarded product of the year in the category of LED lighting in the VIP ASIA Awards 2014.[1]
Strobe Lighting
[edit]The Fomex D series is a digital strobe that uses a capacitor with a digital user interface (UI) and flash tube.[2]
The E series has an 'overcharge warning' on the LED lamp that is detachable. The G600 can produce thirty shots per second.[3]
Light Modifiers

The Peri Bounce series is a photographic aid that can reflect light or adjust the amount of light to be reflected on the main light when taking photographs. It has a circular frame made of aluminum.[4]
